Could you donate $0.50?

Honestly, I need a little extra cash to pay for some hosting bills that are upcoming, and with Christmas coming up - I have to budget acordingly, not to mention my internet marketing and publishing careers are still in their "baby" stage. The reason for this post is to simply put a few dollars into my paypal balance to help me out a bit - consider is an early Christmas gift, if you will. Haha. No, you don't have to donate, it would just be greatly appreciated.

My paypal email is Step.Slightly@gmail.com.

$0.50 is all I'm asking. Any more and I'll be very thankful, and any less I'll still appreciate your donation. My ultimate goal is maybe around $10 to pay the invoice for a domain. If you make a donation please make sure you leave a comment, traceback url, or email address so I can send you my thanks!

Thanks guys,
Andrew/Relient

Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy Seals?

Well Eric is enlisting in the USAF (United States Air Force) in a little over a year - right when he turns 17 and he's trying to convince me to come with him through basic training and such. Well after doing a bit of research I've concluded that the 3 best branches of the military for me to join (if I joined) would either be the Air Force, the Marines, or the Navy Seals. So far I've talked to 2 Air Force advisers, 1 Marine Corps adviser, and 1 NS adviser.

There are, without a doubt, benefits that can be reaped from all of the above -- I would just want to join up with the branch that will best benefit me, the people around me, and my future. Heres my reasoning for choosing the branches I mentioned above. The Marine Corps: I like their morals, they are extremely disciplined, and offer great life applicable leadership skills, as well as a great education and physical fitness. The Air Force: I've always wanted to fly an F-22 Raptor, or maybe just work on one. It would be a great opportunity for me to get a great education and a few degrees in science and engineering while being paid a very reasonable amount of money every month. Enlistment would last 4 years, and almost every aspect of my life would be paid for. The Navy Seals: Well, I love to swim. I would consider water a second home to me. I also admire the Seals' physical fitness habits, they have a very disciplined program -- which is what I like.

While I was chatting with the Air Force adviser, he recommended going to college first, for at least 4 years so that I could just skip the enlistment stage and head straight to the big bucks as an F-22 pilot or engineer. What I would probably do is go to GA Tech for 4 years and earn 2 bachelor degrees. One in computer science, and one in an engineering of some sort. Probably mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering. After that I could go out to the Air Force and take an 8 week program to get my airmen certification and be flying F-22's by the time I'm 22 years old starting out with at least 2.5g a month. Or if I change my mind and don't want to be a pilot by then, I can easily become a flight engineer of some sort. Crew chief maybe? Who knows, I'm just brainstorming.

First things first though, I need to graduate highschool... so I'm off to hit the algebra books.

I wouldn't mind hearing you guys' opinions, let me know what you think about all of it.

Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow

This past weekend, I attended the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow in Pensacola, Florida. Man was it awesome. I was able to see the Friday night show as well as the main Saturday afternoon show. They were definitely worth the 6 hour car ride down there.

I probably took roughly 180 videos and maybe half a gig of pictures - some better than others. Hopefully, if I can scrounge up a new computer soon, I'll throw a nice little short film together of the whole show in Adobe Premier.

I'm not going to lie, seeing the Blue Angels makes me want to go out and join the Marines the day of my 18th birthday - these guys are the definition of "sharp" and "clean cut". We had the privilage of eating our meals at Corry Station, the U.S. "Center for Intellectual Dominance", which was also an encryption school and/or college. So in other words, these guys meant business. One things for sure, that Boy Scouts of America uniform looks pathetic compared to a United States Marine Core or Naval personnels uniform.

On the way out Sunday we visited the U.S. Naval Air Museum, it was a blast. The history in every single display was amazing, I could spend days in that museum. I hope I get to go back a few more times in my lifetime, and I'm sure I will.

Anyway, I'll throw up some more pictures in a Youtube Video sometime soon. Theres just way to many to post on this one blog.
